Candice, the mind behind Her Expat Life is originally from the United States. After going on vacation to Italy with a friend, she made the spontaneous decision to move to Rome. In a matter of weeks after returning to the US, she packed up all her belongings, her autistic daughter, her dogs, and hightailed it to Rome, Italy. She now lives between Malaga, Spain and Istanbul, Turkey where she purchased property and has built an amazing life for herself and her daughter.

Emelina Cortes is a visionary entrepreneur from Belgium who launched her first company in her twenties and now leads as the CEO and Co-Founder of Her Expat Life, specializes in technology, real estate, funding, and leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to drive innovation.She is a multi-passionate entrepreneur, and finds joy in helping women who live, work, and travel abroad expand their opportunities.

Mar, our chief operations manager is from Barcelona, Spain. She is passionate about helping women to grow their businesses and maximize their talents and potential.
Mar has traveled extensively, taught in Thailand, and understands the expat life from a personal point of view.
Mar currently resides in Spain.
